Express Your Soul is a dynamic work of inspiring and thought provoking creativity. The focusing premise is that each individual has some form of expression that is their uniqueness. The way that one individual may express their soul may not necessarily be the way another chooses to express their soul. With this thought in mind, we can use the example of a car and its many parts and various functionals. For the societal movement to be accomplished we all must realize the importance of each related part. Therefore as you Express Your Soul realize that soul expression is the value of life that defines the borders of spiritual relationships. The poetry and lessons found in this wonderful work of art are the expressions of a poet. He has served in the US armed forces. He has served in ministerial leadership roles. He has experienced births and loss of children and businesses. He has viewed mountain top elevations as well as the pitfalls and valleys of life. He is now offering the universe a few pages of momentary reflection and relief in a thought provoking manner. When we look into personality traits we may find what has been deemed as the “Big Five.” The “Big Five” personality traits are agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, extraversion and openness. The big five may also be referred to as dimensions or models. According to Rentfrow the big five are broken down as follows: someone in the agreeableness level is focused on the level of friendliness and kindness, someone in the conscientiousness level is focused on the level of organization and work ethic. If an individual is in the neuroticism level is focused on creativity and curiosity. Those in the extraversion level have the bases of sociability and enthusiasm and those in the openness level are focused on an individual’s level of calmness and tranquility (Renfrow, 2009). I consider myself high on the agreeableness level, high in conscientiousness, high in the neuroticism level and also the extraversion level. Although I may seem as if I am high in openness due to various duties of life, my openness level may actually be low. As strange as it has often sounded to various people for so long, I still consider myself and extroverted introvert. My definition of this is that I would rather be a more calm and tranquil individual at all times but I seem to be in situations where I have to take the lead. I am also a motivational speaker and a spoken word artist. Yet when there is no one at the house with me or in the car with me I may sit in the dark on ride with no radio or music playing. When I say my openness is low it doesn't mean that I’m rambunctious or disorderly. It just means that I have more character to my characteristics. I believe that there is some importance to measuring personalities in this manner. Like most things scientific I believe that these five dimensions give a clear basis of categorizing traits. Another way we may look at personalities is through the traits perspective. One example for this is a quiz that may be found on Boundless. The quiz states that “John is low in extraversion, and avoids parties, crowds of people, and noisy atmospheres. The trait theory would classify him as an introvert. Critics of the trait theory would argue that: Trait theory offers poor predictive value for John’s behaviors based upon the traits. Trait theory doesn’t offer an explanation as to why John is introverted. Trait theory uses self-report measures and personal observations to measure John’s behavior. Trait theory shows how traits correlate with an aggregate measure of behaviors” (Boundless, 2014).ReferenceOnline textbook used by millions. (n.d.) Boundless psychology traits.
